Many people want to know what it feels like to experience the Olympics as an athlete in competition. Growing up in Minnesota and having watched the historic success of the 1980 US Men’s Olympic Ice Hockey Team, Alana Blahoski had always wondered herself.

This week Denise discusses Ravensburgh Cup; Canada-ABMMAAA Games, players of the week; Olympic rosters for Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, and Slovakia; who will be switching shools in the Fall; the return of one player to UMD; Vermont student athlete of the week; polls; games this week and ones to come, and leaders.

The women took center stage at Fenway on Friday afternoon where New Hampshire behind four third period goals beat Northeastern 5-3. Still, there were no losers here on a great day for women's sport.
