Once again, the CHA's top team is Niagara. The Purple Eagles took the majority of the first place votes, all but one to be exact. The second place team Bemidji State, got the last first place vote.
Robert Morris and Alabama-Huntsville are tied for third in the poll, a little surprise there. One would think Robert Morris is on there way up (if the league still exists in the future).
With only four teams in 2008-09, the NCAA still gave a leeway to giving the conference an automatic bid for the season. In other CHA news last week, the 2009 tournament will be held in Bemidji, Minnesota.
Here are my picks for the CHA for 2008-09.
Rosie's CHA Picks
1. Bemidji State
2. Niagara
3. Robert Morris
4. Alabama-Huntsville
Is the clock ticking on the CHA? All I know is, even with four teams, it should still be an interesting campaign for the conference in 2008-09.
